Learning to live tinyBefore building the tiny house we had to know with how much space we were going to work, so we put a tape on the floor , so we could know how small the place was going to be. We started making paper models , then among all we made a cardboard house of the actual size of the houses that we were going to build after all of this we started doing scale models of the houses with foam this was actually more challenging because we had to work in groups, we had to be cooperating and be patient with each other and our group had difficulties trying to make decisions but we worked well.

Team banner logo |
At first we had no idea what was going to be our name as a group nor knew how it was going to be our logo, our teachers gave us a slip of paper to put a name that we would like to have as group. We started voting for the name but none stayed so we decided to choose a name that was strong and made sense ( sempiternal ) this name means something that never changes , also we set out to design a logo that we would like to have , three girls had this great idea of putting endless circles with a tree that had to do with the our tiny house project.

Interviewing & designing with the artistBefore interviewing the artist that was assigned to us ,we started looking for questions that would help us to know him better and what were their interests to incorporate them into the house that we were going to design, we got like a roll assigned (something we had to do specifically) for example one of us had to start the interview another one had to ensure that all questions were made and that the conversation was being fluid also we recorded the interview to remind us of what he had told us . Our house was designed for the artist so he could live in it and also could work with her fiance , we design different places so they can work separately.

Presenting blueprints, layout pages and sketch up
Working on sketchup was not so easy because you had to put the dimensions and place all the furniture , windows, walls etcetera e . Making the blueprints was less complicated and faster to do we did the blueprint several times but the last one was good. When we presented our blueprint we had a lot of feedback to improve our presentation and our layout pages . I liked using the sketchup program because it helped me learn how it was used and perhaps in the future if I get to use is not going to be that complicated.

A building company is born
The day that i notice that our building company was actually a building company was when we had all the money to start our first tiny house and all the team sempiternal was ready to start building, when we started building was challenging getting everyone to do work but when they were actually looking at the difference everyone started to help. Getting the house almost done was a great feeling because i actually felt that our project was the best project that was made in this high school year.
